Description:

Automotive Technology I is an instructional program that prepares individuals to engage in the servicing and maintenance of all types of automobiles. It includes instruction in the diagnosis and repair of engines; fuel, electrical, cooling, and brake systems; and drive train and suspension systems. Instruction is also given in the adjustment and repair of individual components in systems such as radiators, transmissions, and carburetors.

Prerequisites:

None

Special Test or Course Requirement:

Participation in Vocational Industrial Clubs of America (VICA) is encouraged.
