Compensatory Reading — English

Description:

Compensatory Reading is the companion to regular English I. It is a tutorial program designed for the student who needs extra time to complete assignments or a more lengthy explanation of the literature, grammar, and writing covered in the regular English I class. Class members work extra activities and complete repeated assignments until a skill is mastered. The class meets on the alternate day of a corresponding English class.
