Foods and Nutrition is a program which focuses
on Food and Nutrition Science, Safety and Sanitation, Consumer
Information and Food Preparation, Social and Multicultural
Protocol, and Careers. Subject matter will be presented through
hands-on classroom and laboratory activities. The course will
emphasize technological advances int he field of food and
nutrition and will integrate communication, science, and mathematic
skills. This course requires a minimum of 4 food preparation
stations per laboratory. |
