Welcome to Olde Towne Middle School! Parental involvement is crucial to a successful school. There are so many ways you can become involved.
What is PTO about?
Many of the extra things that go on at the school are sponsored by the PTO. The Homecoming Dance, Holiday Havoc, assisting students on the first day to find their homerooms, Titan Timeouts, Field Day, providing awards for top teachers and students ---- to name a few.
We are hoping that you as a parent will help support OTMS by devoting some of your time during the year. The time can be in person at the school or could be sending food or making phone calls. It can be by supporting our fundraisers. Any small part is a big help. In order to provide excellent programs for our children we need all of your help.
PTO is about Communication:
We want to get the word out about our fantastic school. We are responsible for getting news releases to local papers and media. We use our website to communicate to our parents and our community about our school. Please refer to the website to stay informed and engaged in our school. We have a wonderful PTO Manager program that we use to send email notifications to our parents and teachers about upcoming events.
PTO is about Community:
When we all work together on an event we are building community. Teacher Appreciation, Homecoming Floats , Veteran's Day and other PTO-sponsored events are wonderful opportunities to get to know parents and teachers.

Everyone that has a student at OTMS can be a member of the PTO. There are no dues! Even if you just want to sign up to be informed, we are happy to do that for you. By signing up you will receive email updates on what is going on at the school.
We encourage everyone to find their niche and get involved to make OTMS the best possible experience for our children. We have a great school in OTMS.
