State and Federal Mandated Reports
The Dashboard Report is a state mandated report required by the Children First Act of 2009. The purpose of this report is to provide citizens in every community the opportunity to view, at a glance, a report that provides important information about their school district. It provides information in three categories: District Profile, Academic Achievement, and Financial Data. This report is not to be confused with the Federal No Child Left Behind District Report Card. While the two reports will contain some of the same information, each report satisfies a different reporting requirement. Also, please look closely at the school year the information represents.
If you have questions or need assistance interpreting and understanding any information reported here, please call the Madison County District Office at (601) 879-3000.
The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB) requires all districts to disseminate a district report card containing information on teacher qualifications, school improvement and specific test data. Unlike the Dashboard Report required by the Children First Act of 2009, the NCLB District Report Card is a more detailed document that reports specific information about the professional qualifications of teachers in core academic subjects, achievement data for specific subgroups, two-year achievement trends, and student participations rates.
If you have questions or need assistance with this Report Card, please contact the Madison County School District Office of Federal Programs at (601) 879-3015.
