Mac's Fresh Market Foods
Mac’s Fresh Market Foods at School Street on Hwy 51 has begun a community Partners Program. Each time you shop there, you will be given one stamp for every $5 you spend. These stamps can be affixed to Madison Central’s card, which will be kept at Mac’s. Once the card is filled with stamps Mac’s will issue MC a check. Your participation in this program will help us buy needed equipment and supplies for our classroom. Thanks for your support.

Dear Parent or Guardian:
This week we are studying the character trait of friendliness.
The definition of friendliness is: |
|
a benevolent interest in or concern about others. |
Does it seem that friendliness is scarce in society today? If so, wouldn't
it be great if as many individuals as possible would begin planting the
seeds of friendship by simply being friendly?
Won't you join us in reinforcing this week's topic in character education?
The following are a few ideas for you and your son or daughter to do together:
| |
Share with him or her a recent random act of friendliness
which you experienced or demonstrated. Explain how it made you feel
to be friendly. |
| |
Ask your young person to share any forms of friendliness
that he or she experienced or demonstrated. |
| |
Decide together how both of you can display friendliness
to any new individuals in your neighborhood. |
"Friendship is the only cement that will hold the world
together. "
—Duke Ellington
Sincerely,
Madison Central Faculty
