Mac's Fresh Market Foods
Mac’s Fresh Market Foods at School Street on Hwy 51 has begun a community Partners Program. Each time you shop there, you will be given one stamp for every $5 you spend. These stamps can be affixed to Madison Central’s card, which will be kept at Mac’s. Once the card is filled with stamps Mac’s will issue MC a check. Your participation in this program will help us buy needed equipment and supplies for our classroom. Thanks for your support.

Dear Parent or Guardian:
This week we are studying the character trait of generosity.
The definition of generosity is: |
|
unselfishly giving something to someone else. Synomyms
of generosity include kindness, charity, and openhandness. |
It is one of the greatest responsibilities of parents to help our young
people have a generous spirit. Make the first move and set a good example.
You cannot start too early teaching your child about values and generosity.
This is a nature that will stand your son or daughter in good stead for
the rest of his or her life.
Below are a few suggestions for ways you can help us instill this nature
in your teenager.
| |
Play board games or sports with your student. This
helps reinforce the need to take turns aand helps your youngster
learn to lose gracefully. |
| |
Be generous yourself; give your teenager money for
donations to your favorite charity. This helps set the example for
sharing with others. |
| |
During the holiday season adopt a child from your
local community's angel tree, if possible. Help people who cannot
hep themselves. |
"The manner of giving shows the character of the giver more
than the gift itself."
—Johann Kaspar Lavatar
