Dear Parents,

It’s hard to believe that in just a few short days the buses will be rolling, traffic will be horrific, the halls will be bustling and the sound of teenage voices will permeate the air. The Jungle will be normal once again! The faculty and staff are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the students so that we can embark on another great year at Madison Central.

We’ve spent the summer planning for the arrival of our students and making improvements to our facilities. Three portables have been added to our campus adding six new classrooms, the senior patio has been relocated and equipped with new tables, benches, and umbrellas and installation of the new turf at the stadium is well under way.

In preparation of our new year, schedules may be picked up on Thursday, July 31st and August 1st. Orientation for new students will be held August 4th at 6:30 in the auditorium with the Prayer Walk immediately following. Classes will begin Thursday, August 7th at 8:20.

It is with much excitement that I again look forward to serving as principal of Madison Central. It is truly an honor for me to have the opportunity to work with your child on a daily basis. I do however recognize that Madison Central’s success is a direct result of a collaborative effort between parents, the school and the community. As Helen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” Thanks to all of you for the invaluable role you play in our success and as always, feel free to call or come see me if you have questions or concerns.
